As a California  native I was given a love of nature at an early age. When I was 10 years old I moved to the island of Guam, which gave me my love of the tropics and of travel.
When I was 60 years old my husband began a ministry which took us to every continent but mostly to Africa.  Hence my love of anything African.
I have always loved trees.  Their diversity (there is no two trees exactly alike).  Their majesty (California redwoods were in my backyard).  Their usefulness. . . I could go on and on.
